Cloned apps exist in an entirely separate instance of Android. This means that cloned apps which need information from the primary instance of Android on your phone such as your Contacts may not be able to access it.
You may be able to resolve this issue by enabling permission to access your contacts via your device's settings in Apps > Matrix Clone > Permissions > Contacts.
Find your Device's settings menu and select Apps:
Scroll down the app list until you find Matrix Clone:
Find and tap the Permissions section inside Matrix Clone:
Find the Contacts permission and tap the slider to enable:
Then force close and re-open the Matrix Clone app and retry the cloned app that was missing contacts. You may find your contacts are now appearing as expected!
If this doesn't work, or the setting was already enabled properly, we recommend adding your Contacts app to Matrix Clone alongside the cloned app you need to access it with. This adds a copy of your Contacts to the instance of Android where your clone resides, allowing it to access that information.
On the main page of Matrix Clone, tap the + button:
Then select your Contacts app from the list:
Then return to the Matrix Clone home screen and try relaunching the cloned app you were having trouble with. If this doesn't fix the issue right away, make sure to force close both the cloned app and Matrix Clone before trying again.
